Breaded Fish
Seasoned fish fillet is dipped in beaten egg and coated with corn flour and bread crumbs and fried until golden brown. Crispy, tender and juicy.
Ingredients
- 2 large fish fillets (haddock or basa)
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2 cups corn flour
- 2 cups breadcrums
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Wash the fish fillet and pat dry with a kitchen towel to remove all the excess water from the fish fillet. Cut them into quarters or to desired size and salt and pepper
- Beat the egg in a bowl
- Put the cornflour and the breadcrums in two separate flat plates
- Dip the fish in the egg, then coat with the cornflour and then in the breadcrums
- Heat oil in a frying pan
- Fry the fish on medium heat until it is cooked and comes to a golden brown colour
