Grilled Chicken Barbecue

Chicken is marinated with spices, herbs, lemon juice, soy sauce and honey for over 12 hours and cooked on the grill with a simple brushing mixture.

Ingredients

For the chicken

  1. 4 pieces of chicken legs (Skin on)
  2. 2 tablespoon garlic paste
  3. 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  4. A bunch of finely chopped thyme leaves
  5. 2 branch of rosemary leaves (optional)
  6. 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  7. 1 tablespoon gloves powder
  8. 2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  9. 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  10. 1 tablespoon honey
  11. 1 tablespoon oil
  12. Pepper to taste
  13. Salt to taste

For the brushing

  1. 2 tablespoon honey
  2. 2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  3. 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  4. 4 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken and pat dry with a kitchen towel
  2. Marinate the chicken with all the above ingredients (except the ingredients for brushing the chicken legs )
  3. Refrigerate overnight
  4. Heat the grill and spray some cooking oil so that the chicken do not stick to the grill
  5. Combine all the ingredients for brushing the chicken in a large bowl and mix well
  6. When the grill is nicely heated put the chicken legs on the grill
  7. After 10 minutes brush the chicken legs and flip on the other side and brush
  8. Check the chicken and at various intervals and keep turning and brushing the chicken until it is cooked
