Green Chilli Paste

Green chilli is crushed with garlic, lemon juice, sugar and salt to make a fine paste that can be used as a hot sauce.


  • 250 grams green chillies
  • 1/2 cup of cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Lemon juice obtained from half a lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • Water


  1. Combine all ingredients in a grinder and grind to a fine paste by adding a little water
  2. Pour the paste in a clean jar and refrigerate for longer use
