Chicken Wings

Chicken wings are marinated with an assortment of spices, honey and lemon juice and grilled until golden brown to make a crispy and juicy finger food.


  1. 1 kg chicken wings, tips removed, drumettes and flats separated
  2. Barbecue sauce or chicken wings sauce
  3. 1 tablespoon of ginger paste
  4. 1 tablespoon of garlic paste
  5. 2 tablespoon pepper powder
  6. 2 tablespoon cloves powder
  7. 2 tablespoon cinamon powder
  8. 2 tablespoon paparika powder
  9. 2 tablespoon olive oil
  10. 3 tablespoon of lemon juice
  11. 3 tablespoon of honey
  12. Salt to taste


  1. Wash and pat dry the chicken with a kitchen towel. Marinate the chicken with all the above ingredients. Use only half the lemon juice and the honey
  2. Refrigerate for 30 minutes
  3. Combine the other 1 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice and honey . This will be used to paste the chicken wings while it is on the grill
  4. Preheat the barbecue grill and spray some cooking oil on the grill
  5. Put the chicken wings and grill for about 5-8 minutes on one side then paste the chicken with the lemon and honey mixture and immediately turn the chicken wings to the other side
  6. Repeat this process until the wings is completly cooked
